A First Look at Haven's Sequel

The Sequel
Dragoon is book two in the War of the Princes series, and you've heard it here first. I was waiting to have the cover art finished before I released the title. Thought it'd be more fun that way. Below, you will see the final cover art, along with the back-of-the-book description. As I've said to some, I'm allergic to spoilers, so that's all you're getting out of me for now. Put your feline projectiles down please, the book is on its way!

The Cover
I know what many of you are thinking. "Why the heck is there an X over that Dragoon's face?!" I assure you it was no accident. I know it makes this a bit of an edgy cover, raising a lot of questions, but trust me, it's worth it. I could have gone with a cover that was simple, safe, meaningless... but I wanted to give my readers something better. Like Haven's cover, this one has a purpose that connects directly to the book. If I weren't independently published, I wouldn't have a choice as to which art a publisher and marketing team assigns me. But this is an "indie" series, and giving my books freedom of expression is what it's all about. I hope you like it. It was a lot of work for a writer who doesn't paint nearly often enough. :)

The Release
Dragoon will be released within the month of June, 2013. Almost there!
